The tour takes approximately 45 minutes, during which your guide talks about the different works of art in the exhibition, as well as the exhibition as a whole. Choose among the following exhibitions:

CORPUS COSMOS

Period of showing: March 15–August 24, 2025

Corpus Cosmos explores themes of bodily experiences in the borderland between faith and knowledge, medicine and cosmology, with the anatomical theatre in Gustavianum as a central point of reference. The exhibition features sculptures, tactile installations, paintings, and sensory works of sound. The participating artists are Ingela Ihrman, Pakui Hardware, Pia Sandström, Camila Sposati, and Xadalu Tupã Jekupé.

The collections of the museum

Discover the collections of Uppsala Art Museum, which include over 14,000 works of art and design. The collections consist of regional and Swedish paintings from the 20th century to today, drawings and watercolours, sculptures, installations, objects and video art. Nearly half the works in the collections are prints in various techniques and from many different eras, going back to the 16th century. We also have a large number of ceramic pieces from Upsala-Ekeby.

The exhibitions with art from the museum collections are:

  • Places and landscapes - See how landscapes and places are depicted through paintings, video, photography and sculptures.
  • Behold the man - An exhibition about who we are as people and how we see each other.
  • War and peace - Art about traces of conflict and paths to reconciliation.
  • An abstract world - Experience the complex relation between art and reality.

We are happy to accommodate the tour according to your wishes.
