Places and landscapes

What can a place or a landscape tell us? This exhibition contains art from the collections of the museum, in which different places and sceneries are depicted through paintings, videos, photographs and sculptures.

To visit the exhibition, see the opening hours and practical information about visiting the museum here. Entry to the exhibition is free.

A picture of a landscape can portray the place itself, but it can also convey thoughts and feelings about the place depicted. Through art, stories can be told about the people and circumstances revolving the place, and new stories are created through the eye of the beholder. This exhibition has a focus on Swedish artists, such as Britta Marakatt-Labba and Peter Johansson.
