Dreams of the Soul - M.K. Čiurlionis’ Visions for the 21st Century

Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis (1875–1911) is one of Lithuania’s most influential artists. Both a painter and a composer, his work has shaped the nation’s cultural identity. In 2025, we mark the 150th anniversary of his birth with an exhibition that breathes new life into his art through contemporary technology.

Twelve of Čiurlionis’ paintings have been transformed into immersive 3D experiences using artificial intelligence. These three-dimensional interpretations invite visitors to explore his visionary worlds more deeply—realms where the cosmic meets the personal, the dreamlike meets the human.

Čiurlionis lived in an era of rapid change—cinema, the telephone, aviation, and the modernization of art. His symbolist imagery explores timeless themes that still resonate today: the rhythms of nature, inner peace, and humanity’s quest for meaning.

In a world marked by uncertainty and unrest, his art offers a gentle reminder of enduring values—happiness, friendship, and harmony.
