About the Recipients 2025
The foundation selects scholarship recipients from among female graduating master's-level students at the country's art academies. This year's scholarship will be awarded to five artists. You can read more about who they are here.
Ingrid Jacobsen
Malmö Academy of Fine Arts
For a serious play at the intersection between the figurative and the abstract where perception shifts and reflections of reality take new paths.
Klara Helin
HDK-Valand, University of Gothenburg
For the associative playfulness that has taken sculptural form in a deconstruction of the materials and codes of the fashion world. Dressed in leather, denim and lace, simple steel forms take on volume and bodily meaning.
Ailin Mirlashari
Konstfack
For its work in taking collective memories, poetically reshaping them and continuing to encourage creativity in a local community. A project of and with, not about and for, that is built on care and sensitivity.
Kayo Mpoyi
Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm
For a painterly exposure of the complex layers of both personal and social history that constitute each individual. The combination of linguistic fragments and a driven narrative painting clearly shows how important it is to dig down to understand the myriad of images that lie beneath the foreground. Moreover, in a directly riveting visual presentation.
Therese Norgren
Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm
For a stylish, contemporary and fascinating sampling of minimalist expressions, conceptual conviction and intellectual curiosity. A seemingly simple spatial intervention can shake up and grow in the same way that a small question can open a labyrinth of philosophical questions.
