The Anna-Lisa Thomson Memorial Foundation was established after the passing of artist Anna-Lisa Thomson (1905–1952). The foundation's most important task is to award scholarships to female artists in and for their education. The first scholarship was awarded in 1955. The scholarship recipients are selected from graduating students from Sweden's various art academies' master's programs.

The 2025 scholarship recipients are: Ingrid Jacobsen, Klara Helin, Ailin Mirlashari, Kayo Mpoyi and Therese Norgren.
